    “Unity” Group Exhibition at Volery Gallery in Dubai, UAE

    In collaboration with Thinkspace, California, Volery Gallery presents UNITY, 9 June–2 July 2022. The exhibition will showcase the works of 29 established contemporary artists. UNITY reexamines the times we are living through, from which the need to come together as one has emerged. The world has shown us the way to survival by uniting and working together to heal. To beware of individualism no longer serves as the answer to the issue at stake.The 29 artists are joining together to influence change and shed light on threats the Earth is facing. In a commitment to raising awareness concerning climate change, shortages in water and food supply chains, as well as alarming ocean life hazards.     “Sheikh Hamdan” by Lonac in Dubai, UAE

    Among the palm trees of Al Wasl Road in Dubai, a mural by Lonac, a Croatian muralist, illustrator and painter, overtakes the horizon. He is best known for his large-scale photorealistic murals, with various murals internationally.A new mural at Al Wasl Road is a realistic representation of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai. The mural represents Sheikh Hamdan as he glances at Dubai’s horizon, capturing the vision of his father in his eyes and the future ahead of him and his country.Lonac is a highly talented artist whose amazing works can be found throughout his native country and beyond. His signature huge, eye-catching pieces – created with spray cans and brushes – are usually influenced by skateboard culture, comics, graffiti, movies, music, but also current social issues. Strong knowledge of operating painting equipment including his masterful spray can control has allowed the artist to create a recognizable body of work that ranges from monumental realistic pieces to smaller, humorous and often surreal works.Take a look below for more photo of his project in Al Wasl, Dubai.     “Childhood Memories” Group Exhibition at Volery Gallery in Dubai, UAE

    In collaboration with City of Talents, Volery Gallery presents Childhood Memories February 10—March 8, 2022. The group exhibition is curated by Jean Claude Geraud, the founder of City of Talents, Toulouse, a contemporary and urban art agency.Childhood Memories brings together the works of twelve contemporary artists from different parts of the world. The artworks represented are emanated from our memories as children, loaded with vivid colours, wistful eyes and universes made of our dreams and childhood cartoons. The exhibition will take the visitors through a trip of reminisces out of the current challenging times and into a hope-filled universe. On show are various styles of paintings ranging from playfully scribbled paintings, flat surfaces as well as Manga and Anime characters taking over the alternate world.Byun Se-Hee, Wizard and Friends #18.     Coverage: “Higher Than The Sun” Group Exhibition at Volery Gallery, Dubai, UAE

    Last December 15th, Volery Gallery, Dubai and Stems Gallery, Brussels opened Higher Than the Sun, group exhibition. The exhibition presents a selection of contemporary artists with a prosperous history with the Stems Gallery.The lineup features the works of artists that are not well known to the art audience in the Middle East. Including Julien Boudet; Marcela Florido; Hiroya Kurata; Léo Luccioni; Tristram Lansdowne; Liz Markus; Clément Poplineau; Samantha Rosenwald and Tony Toscani. The collaboration realises Volery’s aims for a more comprehensive presentation of contemporary happenings in the international art scene.Inspired by the song Higher Than the Sun by Primal Scream. The exhibited artworks capture moments of solemn peace whether it is in the stillness of time over the hill with two figures dancing under blue skies; the ecstasy of a warm meal fulfilling our cravings; a caveman returning with his victories; or it is the contentment of a lavish green background, water running and childhood memories playing.     Coverage: “Ethereal” Group Exhibition at Volery Gallery, Dubai, UAE

    Last October 14th, Volery Gallery opened Ethereal group exhibition curated by Rom Levy the gallery’s Founder and Senior Curator.     New Mural by Shepard Fairey in Dubai, UAE

    Contemporary American artist Shepard Fairey recently worked on a new mural in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. On the occasion of his solo exhibition at Opera Gallery, the American artist brought to life a beautiful piece of work in Dubai Design District.b-sm = none; sm > 728×90;b-sm = 300×250; sm > none;As usual with Obey Giant, he brought to life some of his signature imagery that will be enjoyed by the local residents for years to come.The mural produced by SAN Projects was completed in a record four days using Spray and Acrylic paint.
