We are currently looking for a few select people to share their knowledge with the readers of StreetArtNews on a bi-weekly basis, writing about the art based topics they enjoy and want to support.
StreetArtNews gets over 300 thousands views each month, meaning a LOT of eyes will see your writing, the topics you cover, and the personal projects you’re sharing through all your other networks.
What can I write about?
We’re looking for articles from the creative world, centering around our current categories of Art, Street Art, Artists, Art News, Installations, Graffiti, and Exhibition Reviews. It’s an eclectic mix of topics, but all are focused around our love of all Urban Art.
Who can apply?
Anyone! We don’t require you to have any experience as an established writer or blogger. However if you don’t have a blog for us to take a look at, we would need to see some samples of your writing. Good writing skills and attention to details are a must. We are selecting only a few lucky writers from those who apply, so for your best chance at being selected please read below for what to include when you contact us.
Please note that NOT all submissions or applicants will be accepted. In order to maintain a high quality for our articles, every article will undergo a review by our panel of editors before acceptance. This is an opportunity for creative individuals only – businesses looking to place promotional links need not apply.
What should I send and how can I get in touch?
We’d love to hear:
• Why you want to write for StreetArtNews and what you want to get out of the experience.
• What you think you can contribute to the team.
• A few writing samples either from a blog or another source to help us access your writing skills.
Contact us at [email protected] with “Contribute” in the subject line. (We aim to reply to all emails asap but please allow a few days for us to review each submission)
We’re super excited to hear from you!
