Expanded Signorino Stone Gallery launches

More than 400 of Australia’s top architecture, design and property development professionals gathered to celebrate the opening of Signorino’s expanded Stone Gallery, now home to the southern hemisphere’s largest selection of natural stone slabs.

The 12,000 m² gallery has the singular purpose of storing and displaying more than 12,500 individual slabs of natural stone that designers and discerning home and business owners can peruse. The gallery meticulously orders and presents an unrivalled variety of stone. It’s a welcome new resource for the architecture and design industry, with something to suit the selector’s every need – be it colour, size, purpose, uniqueness, or impact.

“This is the largest and highest quality selection of natural stone we’ve curated in our entire 50-year history. We only ever select the absolute best material from the best quarries,” says Signorino managing director John Signorino, who himself designed and oversaw the expansion.

“We wanted the gallery to be sophisticated and grand, befitting the incredible and often very large pieces of stone we have on offer. I like to think we’ve created a place that showcases the artistry of nature, which is really what natural stone is. We want people to walk away feeling they’ve experienced something quite breath-taking.”

The launch marks the first of several new initiatives to come in 2022, including three new showrooms in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
