“Australia’s richest design awards” program, which celebrates the use of clay brick, concrete masonry and roof tiles by architects and designers, has announced its jury for 2020.
The Think Brick Awards will be announced on 13 August 2020, and will be judged on craftsmanship and the innovative use of brick.
Elizabeth McIntyre, CEO of Think Brick Australia, said, “The 2020 jury panel are of an exceptionally high calibre and are internationally renowned for their distinctive architectural practice and standout contributions they have made to the industry.”
The 2020 jury members are:
- Amy Muir of Muir Architecture
- Geoff Warn of With Architecture Studio
- Adrian Spence of Richards and Spence
- Sue Barnsley of Sue Barnsley Design
- Asher Galvin of BVN
The deadline for awards entries is Thursday 9 April, 2020. There are six awards up for grabs, all with a $10,000 cash prize. They are the Horbury Hunt Commercial Award, the Horbury Hunt Residential Award, the Kevin Borland Masonry Award, the Bruce Mackenzie Landscape Award, the Robin Dods Roof Tile Excellence Award, and the New Entrants Award.
