The upcoming edition of The Architecture Symposium will take a very personal dive into the residential work of Australia’s emerging and established architects.
Through the theme of Truth or Dare? the symposium promises to be a raw and revealing discussion from architects whose projects are a testament to their experiences, process and creativity.
Curators Rachel Nolan and Karen Alcock have meticulously selected a panel of emerging and experienced architects, who will share their stories of how personal idiosyncrasies and curiosities has helped shape their architectural thinking to create poetic homes that respond to people and place.
The one-day symposium will be held in the Clemenger BBDO Auditorium within the National Gallery of Victoria on Friday 29 July.

Featured speakers include Curious Practice’s Warren Haasnoot, director of Richard Stanisich Kirsten Stanisich, Will Fung of CO-AP, and Clare Cousins, director of her practice of the same name.
After lunch, a lineup of equally revered and up-and-coming names will take the stage, with Stephanie Burton of Lovell Burton, Morgan Jenkins of Nielsen Jenkins, Qianyi Lim of Sibling and Anthony Gill of Anthony Gill Architects discussing the poetics of a home that responds to people and place.
