Institute’s Dulux Study Tour returns overseas in 2023

Applications are now open for the 2023 Australian Institute of Architects’ Dulux Study Tour. The coveted prize will see five winning applicants embark on a 10-day tour of the best architectural sites and practices across three cities. In 2023, the tour will return overseas for the first time since 2019.

The prize is open to all graduates from a tier-two or five-year architecture degree, who are within 10 years from graduation (between 2011 ‐ 2021 inclusive). Entrants may be nominated by an employer or self-nominate if they are self-employed. Employers and self-nominees must be members of the Australian Institute of Architects.

Applicants will be assessed on their individual contributions to architectural practice, education, design excellence and community involvement.

Winners will be chosen from a two-stage process – first, an online entry form, and in stage two, shortlisted entrants must submit an employer reference, resume and a portfolio of works.

Entries are open from 8 August to 14 October. To enter, click here.
