Australian acoustic specialist CSR Martini has launched its new dECO high performance decorative acoustic range offering innovative and sustainable solutions for noise control. These acoustic solutions allow architects and designers to create interior spaces where freedom of design and performance integrate to achieve superior levels of auditory enjoyment and style.
Studies show that poor acoustics can reduce student learning, productivity in workplaces, affect hospital recovery periods, as well as detract from our experience in social settings. Actively managing noise levels is paramount to get the most out of our surroundings. Acoustic design excellence includes control of both sound transmission and sound absorption.
Manufactured in Australia with a focus on sustainability, Martini’s dECO collections have been engineered to reduce sound reverberation. The products are 100 percent recyclable and made with up to 80 percent recycled material. The collections are available in two fabric types: Flat Felt and Velcro-receptive Velour, in an stunning array of 22 colours.
“CSR Martini is very proud to present a product range that delivers performance, sustainability and design to the built environment,” said Luke Dutton, general manager of CSR commercial fit-out.
“The dECO range contains industry leading acoustic performance to satisfy the needs of every space, as well as innovative installation options to speed up install and ensure a designer’s vision is never compromised and easily brought to life on the project.
“Our environmental accreditation can give architects and building owners confidence they are using sustainable materials that will allow spaces to look and perform their best.”
