Liebherr launches new range of fully integrated appliances

Liebherr’s new generation of fully integrated smart appliances comprises five bottom-mount fridge-freezer models and is available from late April 2022.

Customers can expect a variety of innovations that make everyday life easier and more convenient. “For us, a refrigerator is more than just an appliance. It should be a reliable partner that provides assistance, thinks for itself, takes over tasks and makes life easier. That’s why we asked ourselves at the beginning of the development: how can we make our appliances even more efficient, intuitive and contemporary?” says Steffen Nagel, managing director of sales and marketing at Liebherr-Hausgeräte GmbH.

The appliances are made in Germany and offer Liebherr’s premium quality. “Before we approve a door hinge, for example, it must undergo at least 100,000 opening cycles. That is the equivalent of more than 15 years of use. After all, we want our customers to enjoy their refrigerators for a long time,” explains Nagel.

The new models are also equipped with smart features. Innovative technologies in the side panels and vacuum panels in the doors prevent condensation, painted soldering counters corrosion, and fan performance and powdercoated brackets make the fridge-freezers suitable for the harsh Australian climate.

The new function HydroBreeze is likely to become popular – each time the door is opened, and every 90 minutes when closed, a fresh mist covers the fruit and vegetables – ensuring crisp freshness, extended life and less waste.

Quiet functionality makes the new appliances barely perceptible, attractive for open-plan kitchen and living areas. All models easily integrate into existing home systems; they can be fitted with Liebherr’s SmartDeviceBox and connected to WiFi to be controlled via the SmartDevice app.
