The shortlist for the 2025 National Trust (NSW) Heritage Awards has been revealed, showcasing excellence in the conservation, protection and interpretation of natural, cultural and built heritage across the state.
CEO of the National Trust (NSW) Debbie Mills commented, “The response to the 31st annual Heritage Awards has been remarkable. The effort to promote and conserve heritage right across the state is very inspiring to see.”
The 2025 jury comprised Matthew Devine (chair), Ann Toy, Barrina South, David Burdon, Caitlin Allen, Libby Gallagher, Kathryn Pitkin, Peter John Cantrill and Sophie Canaris. Devine reflected that “this year’s entries sparked lively discussions among the judges.”

This year, the National Trust has introduced a People’s Choice Award, with public voting open online until 11.59pm on Sunday 4 May.
