Living Edge strives for sustainable solutions

As part of their ongoing commitment to meet high social and environmental performance standards, Australian furniture retailer Living Edge has become a Certified B Corporation.

Since its inception in 1998, Living Edge’s commitment to sustainability has been at the forefront with a product portfolio that offers functional design and longevity. The certification follows 15 years of advocation for environmental stewardship through initiatives such as the LivingOn sustainability program, which supplies furniture designed to last a lifetime. Over the past decade, LivingOn has grown and evolved to focus on environmental, social and economic issues in line with the triple bottom line of people, planet and prosperity.

CEO of Living Edge, Aidan Mawhinney said they are extremely proud to have received the certification, which will assist them in striving for positive environmental and social outcomes.

“It is a recognition of our commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices. We believe that business can lead the way towards building a better future, and we are proud to be part of a global movement that shares this vision and is deeply passionate about driving change,” Mawhinney said.

“Living Edge is excited to be a key player in seeking and driving change to our economic system for a healthier, greener future.”
