Brickworks extends manufacturing and distribution network in North Queensland

Leading building material manufacturer Brickworks has announced that it has recently acquired the assets of National Masonry in Mackay.

The addition of this facility and sales centre extends Brickworks’ distribution reach across Queensland, complementing existing masonry sites in the northern markets in Rockhampton, Ayr, Townsville and Cairns.

This acquisition secures a production and distribution point in a market where Brickworks had little exposure, better positioning the Masonry division to service North Queensland customers.

Offering complementary products and greater access to new and existing customers, this new addition provides Brickworks with further opportunities for growth.
