Australia’s day one winners from 2023 WAF/Inside Awards

Three Australian projects are among the winners and commendations from the first day of the World Architecture Festival and Inside World Festival of Interiors Awards.

From the more than 30 Australian projects shortlisted in the Completed Buildings and Future Buildings categories, only one received a highly commended in the Culture category: Melbourne Holocaust Museum by Kerstin Thompson Architects. A New Zealand project Ravenscar House by Patterson Associates Architects was the ultimate winner of that category.

Australia project were more successful in the Interiors categories with two winners: Murrenda Residential Aged Care Home by STH in the Health and Fitness category, while M and C Saatchi by Woods Bagot was named winner of the Worlplace (large) category.

The 2023 World Architecture Festival and Inside World Festival of Interiors are held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore until 1 December.
