Parlour launches podcast series

Gender equity advocacy organisation Parlour has launched a podcast series that shares candid conversation between women in architecture about life, work and issues of the built environment.

Recorded live at its many “seasonal salons”, the series explore a wide range of topics from the personal to the profession.

The salons were held across Australia, beginning in Melbourne in 2016, with an open format that allowed the speakers to interview each other in what the organiser described as “frank and funny, intimate and engaging, considered and thought provoking” conversations.

Some of the women who have participated in the salons (and whose conversations are part of the podcast series) include: Kerstin Thompson, Clare Cousins, Emma Williamson, Ninotschka Titchkosky, Naomi Stead and Sarah Lynn Rees.

The podcast series includes 20 episodes and is available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify and Buzzsprout.
