Acoufelt introduces a new digital suite for imagining spaces

Acoufelt, an acoustic solutions specialist, has launched a new digital suite providing design professionals and clients with immersive tools to experiment with and envision Acoufelt products in a space.

The Ammersion suite has two offerings – the Ammersion AR Visualiser and the Ammersion Virtual Showroom. The Ammersion AR Visualiser uses augmented reality technology to imagine a space. By scanning the room with the visualiser on a smartphone or tablet device, users can see how Acoufelt products would integrate into a setting, effectively streamlining the design process.

The Ammersion Virtual Showroom is an immersive virtual reality experience where users with a WebXR supported headset or mobile device can access 20 virtual spaces adorned with Acoufelt products such as acoustic panels, ceiling baffles, screens and carpet tiles. The virtual showroom simultaneously enables users to see how products look in different settings, while also learning about the manufacturing and sustainability of the products.

Evan Maher, marketing director at Acoufelt, said Ammersion provides a more interactive experience for discovering products and matching them with an environment. He said augmented and virtual reality “enriches the customer journey” by encouraging a deeper understanding of the product range and its aesthetics.
