Tsukiko, meaning “moon child,” is a collaboration between Australian designer Alexander Lotersztain and Kyoto-based, tenth-generation lantern makers Kojima Shōten. A paper lantern shade rests on a solid base, adding a soothing and welcoming presence in a domestic setting.

Nicole Lawrence’s new lamp series is inspired by the silhouette of the ouroboros – an ancient symbol of a snake eating its tail. The motif is reinterpreted as a geometric composition of circles. The collection includes table and floor lamps.
