      “A Famous Milanese Renaissance Girl, with Red Brushstrokes, Pixel and a Pointer” by Ozmo in Milan, Italy.

      Born in Pontedera, Italy Ozmo made his first steps in the comics world, but since early 90s he soon moved his focus on writing and painting. In short time his tag would have become one of the most famous and respected ones in the Italian graffiti scene. A special reportage dedicated to Ozmo on ‘Aelle’ – the most famous urban culture underground mag in Italy – will consacrate him as one of the leading figure in the national underground writing scene.Ozmo is now based in Paris. He returns to Milan, the adopted city that has welcomed him in the most decisive years of his artistic career, and he does so symbolically bringing home a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance art: The Lady with the Ermine of Leonardo da Vinci which has been in Poland for two centuries.To dominate the view of the Milanese architecture of Corso XXII Marzo, ready to attract and direct the gaze of passers-by, from now on there will be, in fact, A famous Milanese Renaissance girl, with red brushstrokes, pixel and a pointer, a monumental reinterpretation and recontextualization of the Leonardesca Lady, unchanged in its beauty and elegance of the fifteenth century, but enriched by the journey that, through the centuries, led her to be reborn under the gaze of an artist of today, to relive in the homage that Ozmo makes to the city and its history.It is precisely in Milan, in fact, that Leonardo da Vinci creates some of his most famous masterpieces, capable of changing Italian portraiture. In this context of research and innovation, of artistic and cultural ferment, his Lady with Ermine was born.The project continues the conceptual and aesthetic path undertaken many years ago, which holds together the link between the artist and the historical, historical-artistic and cultural Italian tradition, and his ever-living desire to actualize it.  A famous Milanese Renaissance girl, with red brushstrokes, pixels and a pointer, is enriched with new artistic elements and new points of reflection.With tools typical of the computer world, such as pixels and pointers, but made with brush and spraypaint, Ozmo conceals, highlights or changes elements of the original work, bringing it into contact with the current era and the languages recognized by today’s society. With a red sign that runs along the surface, Ozmo consolidates the link between the pictorial intervention and the architectural context, and harmoniously binds all the artistic elements, giving the city a new public work.The mural  has been realized with the support of the association Street is Culture and the social cooperative of EST – Enosteria sociale , which, in a public housing in the center of Milan, recovers people from difficult contexts, and  it does so by integrating itself in the environment through the art and work. It’s precisely his mission, to bring art where it is not usable, to give life to the collaboration with Ozmo.       New Mural by 2501 in Bolzano, Italy

      Jacopo Ceccarelli aka 2501 recently work on a project in South Tyrol, Bolzano, Italy. He designed and painted the walls of the outdoor area of ​​the Alperia Greenpower company headquarters on Via Claudia Augusta — the project was curated by Outbox.Alperia Greenpower is an Alperia subsidiary active in the field of energy production from renewable sources and operates the Alperia Group’s hydroelectric power plants in South Tyrol.2501’s stylistic signature is characterized by the use of black and white lines and figures that follow each other and alternate in space, which is why he was chosen as the artist. Hypnotic lines and moving images chase each other on the walls of one of the Alperia offices to create a mural inspired by the world of energy. Here is how out of nowhere, between one brushstroke and another, turbines, cables, alternators and transformers come to life.In all his creations, whether it be canvas, paper, or walls, there is an obvious progression in size, detail and complexity that accompanies 2501’s works. His installations, in comparison, grant his audience a more natural, organic contrast to what is customary in his other pieces.       “E SOM DAL GATTO – Struttura G069” by Giulio Vesprini in Reggio Emilia, Italy

      Street artist Giulio Vesprini recently worked on a project in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The mural entitled ‘E Som dal Gatto‘ was created together with the inhabitants of the neighborhood, to tell the story and its symbols.  The work was made possible thanks to the synergy between local institutions and the private world, with the aim of redeveloping and regenerating a suburban space in the city, enriching it with meanings strongly connected with the life of the place.“I reinterpreted this facade with elements of color and graphic structures that have clear references to the life of the Social Center and that emerged during the meetings held with residents of the area. In fact, yellow represents the walkway that connects the district to the Crostolo embankment, the round signs are a dedication to the game of bowls and football, green and blue are the synthesis of water and nature present in the district with a reference to the Gatto Azzurro and the crostolo stream that joins the Po river. The red, on the other hand, recalls the colors I mapped in the neighborhood.”Graziano Tura, president of the Gattaglio social center, underlined, among other things, the beauty of the common experience of members and inhabitants of the neighborhood in the relationship and collaboration with the artist: “Giulio Vesprini is now truly one of us.”With a subtle minimalistic approach, Vesprini focuses on the idea of ‘public space’ and more specifically on spaces where graphic and wall can be united at any given moment: the non-private space and space that is economically uninteresting can become utility space. His artworks are often about contact with architecture and graphic elements.By applying abstraction, he creates intense personal moments masterfully created by means of rules and omissions, acceptance and refusal, luring the viewer round and round in circles.       “Beyond Walls” by Saype in Venice, Italy

      Artist and innovator Saype presents his new creation, making Venice part of his Beyond Walls global human chain. The work, which is sailing through the Serenissima on the occasion of the Biennale Art, has been unveiled on April 21.Giant biodegradable landart painting by French-Swiss artist Saype from the Beyond Walls project on Friday April 15, 2022 on a floating barge in Venice, Italy. Extending over an area of 8 by 30 meters this fresco was created using biodegradable pigments made out of charcoal, chalk, water and milk proteins.
